Julien Zuber is transplant nephrologist at Necker Hospital in Paris, and Professor of Clinical Immunology at Paris Descartes University. He attended medical school at Paris Descartes University and obtained his PhD in Immunology from Pierre et Marie Curie University. He accomplished the largest part of his career at Necker Hospital in Paris, yet worked from 2012 to 2015, as a Fulbright fellow, at Columbia Centre of Translational Immunology in New York, where he gained expertise in transplant tolerance and mixed chimerism. In the Human Lymphohematopoisis laboratory at Imagine institute, he is involved in research with a main focus being on implementing biotherapies and cellular therapies in clinical transplantation of solid organs to improve outcomes.
